Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients
1 ½ cups whole milk
1 ½ cups sugar
3 cups heavy cream
1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions
Beat the milk and sugar together on low speed using a mixer for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves
Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until fully combined
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker
Turn on the machine and churn for about 25 minutes or until thick and creamy
Transfer the ice cream into a freezer-safe airtight container
Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm before serving
